Who is eligible for the WPCNHF Scholarship?
Any student or immediate family member of a person with hemophilia, von Willebrand Disease, or a related inherited bleeding disorder is eligible to apply for this scholarship as long as she/he meets the criteria. The candidate must provide proof of enrollment in an accredited school or vocational/technical center. The applicant needs to submit a completed application within established deadlines.
The Process
Applications must be postmarked by June 30, 2015. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. The WPCNHF Board and staff will review and evaluate all applications and select the scholarship recipient. Criteria should include academic excellence (past or present), community service, recommendations, and personal statements.
Scholarship Funds
The WPCNHF Scholarship will be a one time award in the amount of $2,500. The Chapter is delighted to be in a position to support our community in this way.
