Educational Grants are Available for NBDF’s 2024 Bleeding Disorders Conference
The Western Pennsylvania Bleeding Disorders Foundation (WPBDF) is pleased to offer Educational Grants for NBDF’s 2024 Bleeding Disorders Conference being held in Atlanta, Georgia from September 12-14, 2024. The Bleeding Disorders Conference enables our community to come together and exchange information on a wide variety of topics, from the basics of diagnosis to the most recent and relevant developments in treatment and technology. It is the premier opportunity for networking and support for individuals and families affected by bleeding disorders.

Eligibility
WPBDF wishes to support individuals and/or families with bleeding disorders to attend the National Hemophilia Foundation’s Bleeding Disorders Conference. Grant recipients will be determined through an equitable selection process. Preference will be given to those who have not previously attended an NBDF Bleeding Disorder Conference. Each grant will cover up to two family members, potentially more based on the availability of funds. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

 What the Educational Grant Covers
Grants are available to cover the following:

  • Round Trip Flight from Pittsburgh to Atlanta (Valued at $210+)
  • Hotel Room (Valued at $189 per night + taxes and fees)
  • NHF Bleeding Disorder Conference Registration Fees (Valued at $130)
