Acknowledgments

Thank You to Our Supporters

The Women, Girls, and People with the Potential to Menstruate Initiative is made possible through the generosity of our sponsors, grant partners, donors, and volunteers.

Your support has helped expand bleeding disorders education throughout Western Pennsylvania by providing educational materials, period packs, and nosebleed kits to schools and community organizations. Together, we are helping students, families, educators, and healthcare professionals recognize the signs of bleeding disorders earlier and connect individuals to appropriate medical care.

Since its launch, the initiative has reached 293 school districts across all 26 counties of Western Pennsylvania, providing practical resources that have encouraged medical evaluation and contributed to earlier diagnoses for individuals living with bleeding disorders.

Every educational resource distributed, every period pack assembled, and every nosebleed kit delivered is possible because of your partnership and commitment to our mission.

Thank you for helping make this work possible.

Where It All Began

The Women, Girls, and People with the Potential to Menstruate Initiative was launched through the generous support of a Hemophilia Alliance Innovation Grant, awarded in partnership with the Eastern Pennsylvania Bleeding Disorders Foundation.

This foundational investment made it possible to:

  • Develop educational materials for school nurses and community organizations
  • Create the first period packs and nosebleed kits
  • Build partnerships across Western Pennsylvania
  • Launch a program dedicated to improving awareness and promoting earlier recognition of bleeding disorders

We are especially grateful to the Hemophilia Alliance and the Eastern Pennsylvania Bleeding Disorders Foundation for believing in this vision and helping bring it to life.

Looking Ahead

Because of the generosity of our supporters, this initiative continues to grow each year. We look forward to expanding our reach, developing new educational resources, and helping even more individuals recognize the signs of bleeding disorders earlier.
