Stay In Motion Weekend is designed to educate and empower individuals and families living with bleeding disorders to embrace movement, stay active, and build habits that support joint health, strength, and overall well-being. Safe, consistent activity is one of the most effective ways for individuals with bleeding disorders to protect their joints, reduce stiffness, improve mobility, and support long-term physical and mental health. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in safe activities—such as a hike, strength training with resistance bands, and tai chi—according to their own abilities. Educational sessions will cover topics such as exercise and brain chemistry, building healthy habits, and eating healthy on a budget.

Stay In Motion Weekend Includes:

  • Two Night Hotel Stay
  • Meals and Snacks
  • Activities for Adults & Teens
  • Supervision for Children

The only cost to attend this event is a $50 non-refundable registration fee, per family (due at the time of registration). If the $50 registration fee and/or cost of transportation would present a hardship that would prevent you from attending, you may apply for a scholarship.

Registration is limited to immediate family members living in the household with the person who has a bleeding disorder.

“I’m excited for this year’s Education Weekend! I look forward to spending the weekend outdoors and participating in all of the fun activities that are available at Seven Springs. We held our Young Adult Retreat here a few years ago and I really enjoyed the activities, like paddle boarding and the outdoor swimming pool! If you are looking for ways to get involved in the community and learn about ways to support your physical health, sign up today. You won’t regret it!”
