Also ask if the policy EXCLUDES drug manufacturer coupons or co-pay assistance from counting toward your annual out-of-pocket (OOP) maximums. Be sure to keep record of your call (date, time of call, and person you spoke with). If you run in problems later you can ask the insurance company to pull the phone records.
