Learn About the What, Why, and How Behind VONVENDI!

The following topics will be covered during the program:

  • The underlying cause of von Willebrand disease (VWD).
  • What VONVENDI is, who it is for, and how it works.
  • How to properly store, prepare, and administer VONVENDI.

You’ll also have the chance to engage with the speaker and ask questions about VWD and VONVENDI.

This program will be presented by Janet Martin, Community Education Specialist.

VONVENDI® has approved uses in adults and children with von Willebrand disease (VWD), an inherited bleeding disorder that makes it difficult to form blood clots. VONVENDI first received FDA approval for on-demand treatment and control of bleeding episodes in adults in 2015 and has 10 years of real-world use.

VONVENDI is approved for 3 uses, including:

  • On-demand treatment and control of bleeding episodes in adults and children
  • Perioperative management of surgical bleeding in adults and children
  • Routine prophylaxis to reduce the frequency of bleeding episodes in adults
