NHF’s Washington Days is an opportunity for people affected by inherited blood disorders to advocate for issues important to them. Washington Days will take place in person March 8-10, 2023.
The Pennsylvania Bleeding Disorders Foundations are thrilled to be able to provide scholarships for individuals and families to attend Washington Days. Please fill out this form to apply for a scholarship. Funds are limited and awards will be granted based on eligibility, advocacy experience, and district location. We will notify and announce scholarship recipients the week of January 23, 2023.
In order to be eligible for a scholarship to attend NHF’s Washington Days you must:
1.) Agree to attend and be registered for the Pennsylvania Advocacy Ambassador Retreat March 4-5, 2023, at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort in Bedford, PA. Register for the Pennsylvania Advocacy Ambassador Retreat Here.
2.) Agree to attend and stay for the entire duration of Washington Days, March 8-10, 2023.
3.) Submit this form to apply by Monday, January 23, 2023.
Scholarships include 2 night hotel stay at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill and transportation costs from your home to Washington, DC. NHF will provide the following meals at the hotel:
Wednesday, March 8 – Reception/Dinner
Thursday, March 9 – Breakfast, AM/PM Snacks, and Dinner
Friday, March 10 – Breakfast
