January 11, 2025 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Bullying has become a major public health issue, and it often starts at a very young age. Through a creative process we will discuss this topic and you will be able to address questions, feelings, and concerns you might have. You will receive helpful tips on how to navigate difficult situations and come up with creative solutions for creating a safe environment. This program will be presented by Kathaleen Schnur, LCSW, from the Hemophilia Center of Western PA.

This event is specifically for children aged 7-12 who either have a bleeding disorder or are the sibling of someone with a bleeding disorder. Immediate family members living in the household are welcome. Childcare for younger siblings may be available in a separate room, during the program. Siblings who are interested and able to sit quietly through a class are welcome to participate in the program with their brother/sister; otherwise, we encourage use of childcare provided.

Tickets to the Science Center will be included for you and your family to enjoy the Science Center after the program! To register, send an email to rsvp@wpbdf.org or call 724-741-6160 by December 27. Include: total number of people in your party, your full name, names and ages of all children attending the program, names and ages of children you would like to request child care for during the program.
